In 2015 Le Fix and Clarks Originals opened the store Clarks København on Kronprinsensgade 13.
The brothers Cyrus and James Clark set up the earliest incarnation of Clarks in 1825. They initially specialized in leather goods but soon hit upon the idea of manufacturing sheepskin rugs and slippers. The company is best known for its Dessert Boot, which officially launched in 1950 but was already used by British officers in the Second World War. Since then other iconic models have followed, but they all have the resemblance of stylish footwear made in comfortable skin materials.
As of January 2015 Clarks is partnering up with LE FIX to open the just second Clarks Originals store in Europe in Copenhagen. This opening is to be seen as a celebration of the 65 years it has been since the first Dessert Boot launched. The store offer the complete spectrum of Clarks Originals range which include of course the iconic Dessert Boot but also the just as famous icon the Wallabee and a more new member of the Clarks Originals family the Trigenic Flex in the store Clarks København.
