Lee

Lee Jeans for men has become synonymous with denim jeans in general. The company was formed in 1889 by Henry David Lee as the Lee Mercantile Company at Salina, Kansas. In the beginning Lee produced dungarees and jackets, but over time Lee has introduced many new innovations to manufactured denim. The main focus was to produce work wear clothing, however in the 1954 a flood wiped out the entire Kansas Distribution Center and completely ruined the current production and and entire factory. The accident forced Lee into producing brand new lines and as a result of such as an innovative and more contemporary line was created. Lee's catering to more contemporary fashion cycles resulted in the production of more casual and fashion oriented clothing. The effort of developing more contemporary fashion lines was rewarded in 1996 as the brand was granted their very own National Denim Day in the United States of America.
